Worthwhile reads from the web this week

Here are my worthwhile reads from the web from last week 1/14:

This link seriously cracked me up. I am always so uptight about photos and the minute someone takes a picture I run over to see how it came out and make sure it is a good one, and if not, well we have to do it again. And again. Ha. But I think the Bower Power family has the right idea to let loose and make memories that they can laugh at time and time again!

Thought Catalog featured a ‘Girls’ Season 2 Premiere Drinking Game which also really made me laugh.

Its freeezzzing right now in Boston…a whopping 10 degrees as we speak! So I have soup on my mind, like this Chicken Vegetable Soup!

On the topic of cold weather, chicken pot pie on Eat Yourself Skinny would’ve been another perfect dish for a night like tonight.

On Fav Family Recipes, the Feature Friday post last week was a list of Recipes for Super Bowl XLVII! There are 47 recipes featured including lots of dips in the mix, finger foods, potato recipes, meats and even desserts! Butterfinger Cheesecake Bites? YES!!

On Bakerella.com, I found this gem of a recipe for Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffles. Perfect for v-day, a hostess gift, or just dessert at home! Totally making them.

On Can you stay for dinner? these 250 Calorie Banana Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting sound like the perfect way to use up over ripe bananas!

I love when I stumble across good FREE work outs either for fitness or to just plain de-stress, like this one. Check out a Restorative 30 minute yoga routine to help to relax, featuring instructor Matt Kapinus.

Speaking of free videos, if you need some help decorating your den, check out Cupcakes and Cashmere’s How to: Style a Coffee Table.

13 Amazing Tools for an Amazing YOU in 2013 on AMS Daily offers plenty of good advice and words of wisdom!

New Boston restaurant alert! Downtown Crossing has a new French spot Cafe Province with crepes, pastries, and coffee drinks to enjoy.

Good night! Almost Nashville time! TTYT.
