Worthwhile reads from the web this week

Here are my worthwhile reads from the web this week (for this week 9/24):

I used to never drink coffee. In fact, I have never had a hot cup of coffee in my life. But lately iced coffees are my obsession. I am talking like need one every day, which is completely new to me. I was intrigued by the 9 Surprising Caffeine Facts article on Lifescript.

The weather the past few days in Boston has been cold, gloomy, and rainy. So it is no surprise that Italian comfort food sounds so good right now, like these Four cheese stuffed shells on Pip and Ebby.

This recipe I saw on Foodista for Flank Steak with Mushroom Sauce sounds like a good dinner that is simple yet looks so flavorful and tasty.

I am obsessed with buffalo chicken dip and could eat a whole bowl of it but BBQ Chicken Dip? Yes please!

Remember when I wrote about how to throw your own accessory swap party? On Fashion Friday on Elements of Style, she included Volere wine, which has new purse shaped packaging. How perfect would it be to have these on display at a swap party!

Did you watch the Emmy’s last weekend? I spent a bit more time watching the red carpet pre-show specials instead of the actual awards so I was excited to see what Elle chose as their 2012 Emmys Fashion: Best Dressed.

Cold weather for me means a dry, pale face so I am in desperate need of a facial. Perfect timing for me that not only is my birthday coming up (a good excuse to splurge on spa treatments) but there are also awesome deals for Spa Week Oct 15-19!! $50 Spa Treatments!!!

10 Simple Fall Decorating Ideas on the Glitter Guide are a sure-fire way to jazz up your home this season.

This one is for the Bostonians. First I got a kick out of Complex’s list for the “Top 25 Douchiest Bars in Boston,” considering I have pretty much been to them all. But then I found it funny to read “The Douchiest Bars in Boston? All of Them,” on BostonInno.

Hope you had a great weekend!
