My eats from last week

Happy Monday (ha – as if that is possible)! Last week, I hit up a few of my favorite spots and I did make it to try some new things too. Here is a round-up of where I was and what I liked at local restaurants and bars around Boston. Since I do eat out a ton and tend to go to a few of the same places weekly, I am going to try to leave out the duplicate places I already mentioned last week!

Where I ate and drank:

Benevento’s, North End, Boston, MA

http://beneventosboston.com/

Recommend: Mussels Marinara, caesar salad and pizza.

Chipotle, Downtown Crossing, Boston, MA

http://www.chipotle.com

Recommend: Barbacoa, brown rice, and pinto beans in a bowl.

Al’s, Financial District, Boston, MA

http://www.alscafes.com/

Recommend: Chicken salad sub with all the fixings. Large portions; even the small I could not finish and kept some aside for a snack later.

The Landing, Long Wharf, Boston, MA

Recommend: Corona, Bud Light Lime, or one of their fish bowl punches for two.

Clarke’s, Faneuil Hall, Boston, MA

http://www.clarkesboston.com/

Recommend:  Nachos, burgers, turkey club, steak tips and fries

Howl at the Moon, Financial District, Boston, MA

http://www.howlatthemoon.com/

Recommend: Happy hour buffet and buckets of booze.

Granary Tavern, Financial District, Boston, MA

http://www.granarytavern.com/

Recommend:   Pumpkin & blueberry beer (still need to eat here!).

Max & Dylan’s, Charlestown, MA

http://www.maxanddylans.com/

Recommend: Love this place. Favorites are macaroni and cheese, sliders, chicken fingers, flatbread pizza and to drink, dirty martinis.

Boloco, Financial District, Boston, MA

http://boloco.com/

Recommend: Buffalo chicken wrap with grilled chicken and brown rice, on a wheat wrap.

Potbelly’s Sandwich Shop, Downtown Crossing, Boston, MA

http://www.potbelly.com/

Recommend: More info and pics to come on this place but so far had “A Wreck.” This sub featured Salami, Roast Beef, Turkey, Ham & Swiss Cheese. With a vanilla shake to drink, it was so good!

Mexico Lindo, Melrose, MA

http://www.mi-mexicolindo.com/

Recommend: Margaritas, chips and salsa, combo platters and fajitas.

D’Amici’s Bakery, Melrose, MA

http://www.damicis.com

Recommend: Any of the mini desserts! All looked divine.

I grocery shopped yesterday so hopefully this list is much shorter next week for the sake of my wallet and waistline!

Question: What was your favorite restaurant dish last week?
