Worthwhile reads from the web this week

Whoops! It’s already Tuesday and I didn’t share with you guys my worthwhile reads from the web this week from LAST week. I already wrote a bit about my week, with the perfect date night and my first impressions of Granary Tavern. Besides that, I hit up a few new places in Downtown Crossing Friday with an old co-worker, which I will share with you guys soon.

The weekend was productive on the writing and cooking front (did you see my recipe for tomato sauce?) and I also made it out for Sunday Funday on the patios of a few local bars including The Landing and Tia’s (where I always seem to be lately!) Anyways, for the week of the 16th of July, here is what caught my eye!

If you like free snacks raise your hand! I am giving away two Pretzel Crisps prize packs! Enter NOW!

“Marissa Mayer becomes CEO of Yahoo and proves women cannot have it all” has become quite a topic on the Penelope Trunk blog.

I love Laughing Cow cheese and was excited to see this easy, crowd pleasing recipe for Spinach and Cheese Swirls on Baking Me Hungry.

Every time I go to Whole Food’s, I stock up on fruit leather to snack on. Who knew it was so easy to make? Apparently Baked by Rachel did.

Another cherry recipe that is worth a try is Skinnytaste’s recipe for Cherry Lime Ice Pops.

I came across another fruity recipe too that I totally want to make asap. Strawberry Greek Yogurt Banana Bread from Closet Cooking.

And get ready for some Larry J’s BBQ in Seaport.
