Worthwhile reads from the web this week

Such sunny weather this weekend! I hope everyone got outside to enjoy it and also had a good week. The week (6/25th) has been very eventful for me since Tuesday I went to the grand re-opening of Olives in Charlestown and met celebrity chef Todd English (much more to come on that including tons of food pics). Wednesday my work out buddy and I didn’t have our personal trainer session but we are so used to having girl talk on our walk after the trainer on Wednesdays. So instead we decided to meet up later in the night for her to see my new place and then headed out for a drink and dinner at Antico Forno.

Thursday night, it was the perfect night for the patio at Tia’s for some drinks with the co-workers and Friday I just laid low. Yesterday I had a great day working out and exploring the tall ships (will share photos soon!) and in the evening headed to a roof deck b-day party, followed by apps and drinks with the bf at Vito’s. All and all, I am taking advantage of the summer before it flies by!

With just a few days until Fourth of July, the web was filled with planning ideas for upcoming BBQ’s and plenty of other things that peaked my interest.

The Just a Taste Newsletter posted 5 Ways to Build a Better Burger, perfect for this time of year.

Speaking of burgers, Boston Magazine listed their picks for Boston’s best!

How refreshing does this look? Watermelon Spritzers are completely up my alley.

This CHOrific Flag Cake is easy and so perfect to serve this week!

I saw this Tex-Mex Chicken and Tortilla Stack on Recipe.com and couldn’t resist sharing it.

If you would rather head out in Boston on July 4th instead of party hopping, Boston Chefs has posted plenty of things going on at area restaurants and I also made a list of events going on this month!

And on the fashion front, the Average Girl’s Guide has you covered with Leg-Lengthening Espadrilles.

Have a good rest of your Sunday. Go Italia!
